Given :-

Area  \: of \:  the \:  lawn = (40 \times 25) \:   {meter}^{2}

45 \times 25 = 1000  \: {m}^{2}

Width of Path = 2 metres

Now :

New Length = 40 + 2 × 2m 40 + 2 × 2m = 44 m

New Breadth = 25 + 2 × 2m

25 + 2 × 2m = 29 m

Now the Area = 44 * 29 Square meter.

= 1876 \:   {meter}^{2}

Area of the Path :

1876 - 1000 Sq . m

1876 - 1000 Sq . m = 876 sq. m

Cost of leveling :

Rs 8.25 × 876

Answer : Rs . 7427
