a rectangular ground is 90 m long and 32 m broad. In the middle of the ground there is a circular tank of radius 14 m. find the cost of turfing the remaining portion at the rate of rupees 50 per square metre

area of rectangular ground=l×b =32×90=2880m^2

area of circular tank=π r^2 =22/7×14×14=616m^2

area of remaining portion=area of rectangular ground-area of circular tank
=2880-616=2264

cost of turfing the remaining portion at the rate of 50 per m sq=2264×50=113200 rup
