a rectangular ground is 90 M long and 32 M broad in the middle of the ground there is a circular tank of radius 14 M find the cost of turfing the remaining portion at the rate of rupees 50 per square metre

Area of turfing = 90*32 - pi*14^2 = 2880-616= 2,264 square meters
Cost = 2264*50 = Rs 113,200

Area of rectangular ground = 90*32=2880 meter square.
Area of base of circular tank = 22/7 * 14* 14
= 616 meter sq.
Area of leftover rectangular ground :
2880 - 616 =2164m sq.
cost of turfing the ground = 2164 * 50
= ₹108200
