a rectangular hollow pipe is made of 1 cm thick iron sheet. if the length of the pipe is 2 m and the other outer dimensions of the pipe are 10 cm X 8 cm then find the weight of the pipe if 80 cmcube of iron weighs 1kg.

total volume of the pipe if we not consider the hollowness=16000=10×8×200
the volume of hollow space =9600=8×6×200
total volume of iron =16000-9600=6400
the weight of pipe =6400÷80=80
there fore the answer is 80kg
