Step-by-step explanation:

let V_1 and V_2 be the volume of rectangular iron road and recasted small cuboid pieces respectively.

V_1 = 16m \times 8m \times 4m = 512 {m}^{3}

And,

V_2 = 20cm \times 16cm \times 12cm = 3840 {cm}^{3}

since, 1 {m}^{3}  = 1000000 {cm}^{3}

V_1 = 512 {m}^{3}=512000000 {cm}^{3}

Number of iron cuboids were made from this big rectangular iron rod

=  \frac{512000000 {cm}^{3}}{3840 {cm}^{3} }    =  133333.33333

thus, 133333 such cuboids were made.
