area of lawn covered with grass is total area of lawn-srea of flower bed.

area of lawn is
18 \times 14
 = 252 {m}^{2}


area of flower bed is
2.5 \times 2.5
6.25 {m}^{2}
area of grass is
252 - 6.25
245.75 {m}^{2}



The area covered with grass is
245.75 {m}^{2}
