Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle = l * b

area of rectangle of lawn  = 40 * 25 = 1000 sq m           (i)

after path area of rectangle  44 * 29  = 1276 sq m          (ii)

area of path  = 1276-1000 = 276 sq m

cost of levelling path = 276 * 8 =   2208 rs

ANSWER:-

SOLUTION:-

• 1st situation.

A rectangular lawn's externally path length is 40m & breath is 25m.

.°. A externally rectangular lawn area = L ×B

=40m ×25m

.°. A externally rectangular lawn area =1000m² -----(1)

•2nd situation

the outer rectangle length is 44 m & breath is 29 m.

.°. A outer rectangular lawn area = L ×B

= 44m ×29 m

.°. A outer rectangular lawn area =1276 m²----(2)

.°. from eq.( 1 )& (2)

(A externally rectangular lawn are -A outer rectangular lawn area)×cost

(1276m² -1000m²)×₹ 8 m²

.°. cost = 276m²× ₹ 8 m²

.°. cost = ₹ 2208.

.°.the cost of leveling the path is in ₹ 2,208.
