We have,
length of the lawn=50m
It's breadth. =30m
area of the rect. lawn=length*breadth
=50m *30m=1500m^2
now,
we have breadth of the complete lawn and the path=30m+2m+2m=34m
then,we have total length=50m+2m+2m=54m
Total rectangular area =length*breadth
=54m*34m
=1836m^2
Now,
The area of the path=Total area-area of the lawn
=1836m^2-1500m^2
=336m^2
We get ,the area of the path is 336m^2.

Step-by-step explanation:
length of lawn =50 m
breadth of lawn = 30 m
Area of the rectangle lawn= l * b
50m *30m
1500M *2
now,
we have breadth of the lawn and the path
= 30+ 2m +2m = 34m
Then , we have total length = 50+2 +2 =54m
total rectangular area = l*b
34*54 =1836m ^2
1836m^2 - 1500
= 336
