lxb-(l-5)x(b-5) = 2100-1625=475 sq m
cost of gravel = 475x4=1900

rajii: pls give me clear explanation..
ManuBagde: We know that area of rectangle is = lxb
ManuBagde: but here we have two roads which are crossing each other at a point
rajii: k thank u ...
ManuBagde: means 1 is parallel to length and other to breadth,
So we will minus the Roads area with lenght and breadth
==> L= L-5 and B =B-5
So then we will minus the new area from where we have subtracted the road parts from the older one.
ManuBagde: = lxb-(l-5)x(B-5)
= 70x30-65x25
2100-1625=475
Road area= 475
Total cost =475x4 1900Rs

area o f park=70*30
area of roads=total area-area of park
                    75*35-70*30
                    2625-2100
                    525
cost of gravel = 525*4
                       2100
