Answer:

The area of path is 375 sq m.

cost of cementing is ₹31875.

Step-by-step explanation:

length of the rectangular park= 50m

breadth of the rectangular park= 20m

area of rectangle= length × breadth

area of rectangular park= 1000 sq m

After cementing,

Length of the rectangular park= 55m

Breadth of the rectangular park=25m

area of rectangular park afte cementing=1375sqm

now,area of cementing path =1375-1000

=375 sq m.

cost for cementing path=(375)×₹85.

=₹31875

\huge\boxed{\fcolorbox{yellow}{orange}{☞✿ANSWER:-}}

Area of the Pavement = Area of the rectangle formed after making pavement − area of the original rectangle.

= LB − lb

= 50 + 3.5 × 2(35 + 3.5 × 2) − 50 × 35

= 2394 − 1750

= 644m2

Therefore,

Cost of cementing this pavement

=644×400/8=Rs.32200
