a rectangular Park is of dimensions 150 m by 120 m two parts Run parallel to the side of the rectangular Park through the centre of the park the width of the path is 2.4 M find the area of the path and the area of the remaining part of the park​

area of rectangular park = l×b

= 150×120

=1800 sq m

area of 2 paths - area of square in between

(l×b) + (l×b)

=(150×2.4) + (120×2.4) - (2.4×2.4)

= (360 + 288) - 5.76

= 648 - 5.76

= 642.24 sq m

area of remaining rectangular park

= 1800 - 642.24

= 1157.76 sq m
