a rectangular park whose length is 30 m and width is 20 m. there is a path of 1 m width running inside along the perimeter of the park that has to be cemented. if 1 bag of cement is required to cement 4 sq.meter area how many bags of cement would be required to construct the cemented path?

Answer 1

since the area of sq. is 600 m^2 
Path is in the inner side alongside perimeter
subtracting 1m from all sides L=28m  , B=18m
Area without path = 28*18
=504m^2
Subtracting from intial area = 600-504
=96m^2

No. of bags = 96/4=24

Ans=>24 bags
