8 cm is difference in perimeter before and after the piece is cut off

Step-by-step explanation:

correction 20 * 15  is 10 * 15

complete question in figure

initial perimeter = 10 + 15 + 6 + 7 + 4 + 22

=64 cm

A rectangular piece of 10 cm x 15 cm is cut off

Size of two pieces

10 * 15 cm     &  4 * 7 cm

Perimeter of 10 * 15 cm  = 2(10 + 15)  = 50 cm

Perimeter of 4 * 7  cm  = 2(4 + 7)  = 22 cm

Total Perimeter after cutting = 50 + 22 = 72 cm

difference in perimeter before and after the piece is cut off  = 72 - 64  = 8 cm
