Area of 1st Road = 45 m × 1m =

45 m²

Area of 2nd Road = 30 m × 1 m =

30 m²

Area of common part = 1 m × 1 m =

1 m²

Area of road = 45 m² + 30 m ² - 1 m² =

74 m²

Area of total ground = 45 m × 30 m =

1350 m².

HENCE the area of remaining ground =

1350 m² - 74 m² = 1, 276 m².
