A rectangular piece of ground is 45m long and 30 m wide. It has two roads each 1 m wide,running midway within it,one parallel to the breadth. Find the area of the roads. Also calculate the area of the remaining ground​

Area of rectangular field= lenth × breath

= 45 × 30

= 1350

Lenth of road = breath of field = 30

Area of road = lenth × breath

30 × 1

= 30

Area of remaining ground =

Area of field - area of land =

1350 - 30 =1320
