suppose the length and breadth of a rectangular park is 5x and 3x.
so by question
2(5x+3x)= 128
therefore. x=8
so, length= 40m and breadth= 24m
hence area= 40×24= 960 m^2

Answer: 960 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length and breadth be 5x and 3x respectively (the ratio is 5:3)

Perimeter = 128 m

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

[Where l is length and b is breadth]

=>128 = 2(5x + 3x)

=>128 = 2(8x)

=>128 = 16x

=>128/16 = x

=>8 = x

Length = 5x = 5×8 = 40

Breadth = 3x = 3×8 = 24

Area = length × breadth

Area of the rectangle = 40×24 = 960 m²
