A rectangular piece of paper is 12 1/2 m long and 10 2/3 cm wide. Find the perimeter.

Breadth=12\frac{1}{2}m=\frac{25}{2} m.

Length=10\frac{2}{3} cm=\frac{32}{3} cm=\frac{0.32}{3}m,.............(converted cm to m, because in the question, it is given 12\frac{1}{2}m and 10\frac{2}{3} cm . Thus, it is important to convert either cm to m or m to cm so that the correct perimeter can be found out)        Perimeter= 2(l+b)

2(\frac{25}{2}+\frac{0.32}{3})

=25.213m (approx)
