if we roll this rectangular piece height is 22 cms and the circumference of base is 10cm
so,
2πr=10
2×22/7×r=10
r=10×7/44
r=5×7/22
volume of cylinder =π×r×r×h
=22/7×35/22×35/22×22
=5×35cm^3
=175cm^3

Answer:

174.80 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangular paper = 22 cm

Breadth of rectangular paper = 10 cm

A cylinder is formed by rolling is such a way that the length of the paper becomes height of the cylinder.

Length = Height of cylinder = 22 cm

Breadth = Circumference of base of cylinder = 10 cm

Circumference = 2 \pi r

So,  10 =2 \times \frac{22}{7} r

\frac{10\times 7}{2 \times 22} =r

1.59 =r

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^2 h

Volume of cylinder = \frac{22}{7} \times 1.59^2 \times 22

                                 = 174.80 cm^3

Hence  the volume of the cylinder is  174.80 cm^3
