Length of recatngular piece=11cm
breadth of rectangular piece =4cm

Area of
rectangular piece =Curved surface of cylinder
11×4=2pie r h
44=2 ×22/7 ×r×4 (since hieght=4cm)

44×7/2×22×4=r

r=1.75cm

volume of cylinder=1/3×pie ×r^2×h
=1/3×22/7 ×1.75×1.75×4

=22/21 ×12.25
=12.833cm^3

Answer:

\small{\boxed{\bf {The\:volume\:of \:cylinder\:is\:38.5cm^3}}}

\tt{Given}\begin{cases}\tt{11cm} \\ \tt{4cm} \\\tt{4cm}\end{cases}

\large\underline\textsf{To find }

\small\textsf{the volume of the cylinder }

\large\underline\textsf{Suppose:- }

\large\bf{ Radius \:of \:cylinder =\red R}

\large\bf{And \:Hieght =\red H}

\huge\underline\textsf{Explantion:- }

\implies\sf perimeter \: of \: the \: base \: of \: the \: cylinder  = 2\pi \: r = 11

\implies\sf2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 11

\implies\sf r =  \frac{7}{4} cm

\implies\sf volume \: of \: cylinder = v = \pi \: r {}^{2} h

\implies\sf \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{4} \times  \frac{7}{4}   \times 4cm {}^{3}

\leadsto\bf38.5cm {}^{3}
