Dimensions of the rectangular

plastic sheet :

Length ( L ) = 1 m

Breadth ( B ) = 70 cm = ( 70/100) m

B = 0.7 m

Area of the sheet = L × B

A = 1m × 0.7 m

A = 0.7 m²

It is given that ,

Cost of 1 sq m = Rs 80

Cost of the sheet = 0.7 × 80

= Rs 56

Area of Rectangular sheet = L × B = 0.7 × 1 = 0.7 m².


Cost of 1 m² = 80


Therefore,


Cost of 0.7 m² = 80 × 0.7 = Rs 56
