area of path is (2L+x)(2B+x)-L*B
x=1.5m width of path
according to question,
= (2*65+1.5)(2*30+1.5)-65*30
= (130+1.5)(60+1.5)-1,950
= 131.5*61.5-1950
= 8,087.25-1950
= 6,137.25
Answer= Area of path is 6,137.25square metre

Hello..
Answer..

given \: that \:  \\ a \: recangularplay \: ground \:  \\  length = 65m \\ breadth = 30m \\ area = lengh \times breadth \\  = 65 \times 30 = 1950m \\  \\ a \: pathway \: of \: 1.5m \: width \: goes \: all \: around \: the \: ground \: out \:side \: it. \\ so \:. \\ new \: length + 1.5 + 1.5 \\  = 65 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 68 \\  \\ new \: breadth + 1.5 + 1.5 \\  = 30 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 33 \\  \\ new \: area = 68 \times 33 = 2244m \\  \\ so \: the \: area \: of \: the \: pathway \: will \: be \:  \\ 2244 - 1950 = 294m
