\huge\mathbb{SOLUTION:-}

\bold{Given:-}\begin{cases}\sf{Length\:of\: plot(l)=18m}\\ \sf{Breadth\: of\: plot=45m}\\ \sf{width\:of\:path=4m}\end{cases}

  • Now first find area of plot

  • which is in the form of rectangle So area of rectangle

\boxed{\sf{Area\:of\: rectangle=length\times breadth}}

\bf\underline{\underline{\purple{According\:to\: Question:-}}}

\sf\implies Area\:of \:plot=18m\times 45m\\ \\ \sf\implies Area\:of\:plot= 810m{}^{2}

\boxed{\sf{\purple{Area\:of\: plot=810m{}^{2}}}}

  • Now the path is built inside the plot

  • New length =18+4=22m

  • New breadth=45+4= 49m

  • Now new area of plot

\begin{cases}\sf{New\:Length\:of\: plot(l)=22m}\\ \sf{New\:Breadth\: of\: plot=49m}\end{cases}

\sf\implies New\:area\:of\: plot =22m\times 49m\\ \\ \sf\implies New\:area\:of\: plot=1078m{}^{2}

\boxed{\sf{\purple{New\:area\:of\: plot=1078m{}^{2}}}}

  • Now we have to find the area of path

\sf\implies Area\:of\:path=1078-810\\ \\ \sf\implies Area\:of\:path=268m{}^{2}

\boxed{\sf{\purple{Area\:of\:path=268m{}^{2}}}}
