A rectangular plot of land is 300 m long and 250 m broad it has two roads each 3 meter wide running midway within it one parallel to the length and the other parallel to the breadth find the area of the roads also calculate the cost of constructing the roads at rd 50 per square metre

width = 2m
TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl)
= 2 (300×250 + 250×2 + 2 ×300)
= 2 ( 75000 + 500 + 600)
= 2 ( 76100)
= 152200 m^2
the cost of the constructing the road at 50 per m^2
= 152200 × 50
= 7610000 rs
