Given ;

A rectangular plot of land is one-third wide as it is long.

To Find :

Area of plot

Solution:

Length of rectangular plot = 51 m

We are given that A rectangular plot of land is one-third wide as it is long.

So, Width of plot = \frac{1}{3} \times 51 = 17 m

Area of plot =length \times Breadth

Area of plot =51 \times 17

Area of plot=867

Hence the area of plot is 867 sq.m.
