Given breadth of the rectangular plot = 30 m
It is also given that a boundary wall is built at a distance of 1 m from the plot,
Hence length of the inner boundary, l = 45 + 1 = 46 m
Breadth of the inner boundary, b = 30 + 1 = 31 m
Given height of the boundary wall, h = 2.4 m
Area of the inner surface of the boundary walls = 2h (l + b)
= 2 × 2.4 × (46 + 31)
= 2 × 2.4 × 77
= 369.6 sq m
∴ The area of the inner surface of the boundary wall is 369.6 sq m.
