Volume of reservoir=576liters or 0.576 m^3
Then
L*b*h=0.576
1.6*0.4*b=0.576
b=0.576/1.6*0.4=2.4m

Quantity of water contained in a reservoir = Volume of reservoir

Length of the cuboid = 1.6 m

Height of the cuboid = 0.4 m

Let it's breadth be 'b' m.

So, volume of a cuboid = l × b × h

                                     = 1.6m × 0.4m × b m

                                     = (0.64 × b) m³

Water contained           = 576 liters

        1 liter                    = 1/1000 m³

Therefore, 576 litres     = 0.576 m³

=> 0.576 = 0.64 × b

=> b = 0.576 / 0.64

=> b = 9/10

Breadth = 0.9 m

Ans. = The breadth of the reservoir is 0.9 m.

Hope it helps!!!
