Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangular room = 5.6 m

Breadth of rectangular room = 4.8 m

Area = Length × Breadth

Area = 5.6 × 4.8

Area = 26.88 m²

Now, breadth of carpet = 80 cm = 0.8 m

Since, room is to be carpeted with the carpet

⇒ Area of room = Area of carpet

⇒ 26.88 = Length × 0.8

⇒ Length = 33.6 m

Hence, Length of the carpet = 33.6m
