width of the room=7.5m

Area of the floor= 10*7.5= 75sqm
width of the carpet=1.25m

Now, area of the carpet= area of the floor
So, length of carpet= 75/1.25
                               =60m

Hence, cost of covering the foor= Rs250*60
                                                    = Rs15000
