Answer:

width of a rectangular sandbox = 5 units

Its length = 5 times its width = 5 × width

Length of a rectangular sandbox = 5 × 5 = 25

Width of sandbox = 5 units

Length of sandbox = 25 units

Its perimeter :

= 2 ( l + b ) = 2 × length + breadth

= Perimeter = 2 × 5 + 25 = 30

= Perimeter = 30 units

= Area of this sandbox :

= l × b

= length × breadth

= 5 × 25 = 125 units

Therefore length of a sandbox if it is 5 times as its width will be 25 units as 5 units was its width and 5 times 5 makes 25 . The perimeter of a triangle with 5 units breadth and 5 units length will be 30 units . The area of this triangle would be 125 units .
