Note: If the rectangular sheet of 44cm length is rolled to a cylinder, then the height of the cylinder will be 44cm

Similarly, the width will be equal to the circumference of the cylinder

Circumference of the cylinder = 20 cm

=> 2πR = 20

=> 2 × \frac{22}{7} × R = 20

=> \frac{44}{7} × R = 20

=> R = \frac{20 × 7}{44}

=> R = \frac{35}{11}

So,

volume of the cylinder = πR²H

=> \frac{22}{7} × (\frac{35}{11})^2 × 44

=> 2 × 5 × 35 × 4

=> 1400 cm²

Answer:

1400 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Total surface area of aluminum foil => 44*20 = 880 cm^2

If we roll the foil along the length

Cicumference = 20 cm

Height = 44 cm

To find the volume we need the height and the radius

Now find the radius

2\pi r = 20

2*22/7*r = 20

(44/7) * r = 20

r = 140/44 = 35/11 \\

Area of cyclinder = \pi r^{2} h

=> 22/7 * (35/11)^{2} * 44

=> 1400 cm^3
