Hey there!!

Let the length of the rectangle be the circumference of the cylindrical base of the cylinder

( 2 ) ( π ) ( r ) = 44 cm²

π ( r ) = 22

( 22 ÷ 7 ) ( r ) = 22

r = ( 22 ) × ( 7 ÷ 22 )

r = ( 1 ) × ( 7 )

r = 7 cm

Radius = 7 cm

The breadth be it's height

The formula for the cylinder = ( π ) ( r² ) ( h )

( 22 ÷ 7 ) ( 49 ) ( 22 )

( 22 ) ( 7 ) ( 22 )

3388 cm³ is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of the rectangular sheet

Length = 44 cm

breadth = 22 cm

Given : Its length rolled to form a cylinder

So, height = 22 cm

length of the sheet = circumference of the base of the cylinder

Circumference = 2πr

44 = 2× 22/7 × r

r = 44×7 /44

r = 7 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr^2h

= 22/7×7×7×22

= 3388 cm^3
