Answer:

1371.31

Step-by-step explanation:

length of sheet =44 cm

breadth of sheath =18cm

diameter of cylinder =breadth of sheath /2

=18/2 =9 cm

radius =9/2 cm

Surface area = 2πrh +2πr

= 2*π9/2+44+2*π9/2

=1371.31

FROM THE INFORMATION GIVEN WE GET,

HEIGHT =18cm (cylinder)

CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE BASE OF CYLINDER=44cm

2πr=44 cm ......[•°• length of sheet of paper =base of cylinder]

A/Q,

=>2×22/7×r=44

=>44/7×r=44

=>r=7cm

NOW, SINCE WE GOT RADIUS WE CAN EASILY FIND THE VOLUME ISN'T IT XD

VOLUME OF CYLINDER=πr^2h

=>22/7×(7)^2×18

=>22/7×49×18

=>22×7×18

=>2772 cm^3.

TSA:- 2πr(r+h)

=2×22/7×7(7+18)

=2×22×25

=1100 cm^2.
