Length of rectangular sheet = 88 cm
breadth of rectangular sheet = 10 cm
Now, it is rolled so length becomes the circumference and breadth becomes the height
Circumference of cylinder = 88cm
2πr = 2×22÷7×r
88×7÷44 = r
14 = r
Radius of cylinder = 14cm
height of cylinder = 10cm
Volume of cylinder = πr square×h
= 22÷7×14×14×10
= 6160cm cube

Answer:

The volume of the cylinder is 6157.5 cm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that rectangle of the dimension 88cm x 10 cm is rolled into a cylinder.

now the circumference of the circle obtained is 2\pi r = 88cm

which will give us r = 14cm

Now the height of the cylinder is 10cm

The volume of the cylinder is \pi r^{2}h which will give us \pi 14^{2} *10

   which will be simplified to 6157.5 cm^{3}
