The ratio of width of paper to its length is 7:20

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangular sheet = 1.2 m

1 m = 100 cm

Length of rectangular sheet = 1.2 m = 120 cm

Breadth of rectangular sheet = 42 cm

The ratio of width to length =\frac{42}{120}=\frac{21}{60}=\frac{7}{20}=7:20

Hence The ratio of width of paper to its length is 7:20
