Final answer:-

  • 120 litres

Given:-

  • Dimensions of rectangular tank = 0.5m, 0.6m and 0.8m

To Find:-

  • How many litres of water does it hold when it is half full.

Solution:-

Amount of water hold by half tank = Volume of rectangular tank/2

Now,

⇒Volume of rectangular tank = length × breadth × height

⇒Volume of rectangular tank = 0.5m × 0.6m × 0.8m

⇒Volume of rectangular tank = 0.24m³

∴ 0.24m³ = 240 litres

Then,

Amount of water hold by half filled tank will be,

= 240/2

= 120 litres.
