A red-brown metal X forms a salt XSO4. When hydrogen sulphide gas is passed through an aqueous solution of XSO4, then a black precipitate of XS is formed alongwith sulphuric acid solution. what is the unknown reaction​

Salt XSO4=CuSO4 copper sulphate

Black PPT XS = to CU S copper sulfide

when hydrogen sulphide is passed through copper sulphate solution black PPT of copper sulphide is formed cuso4 + H2S gives out CuS+H2SO4
