Red Ribbon = 2x cm

Blue Ribbon = 3 times of Red Ribbon = 3 x 2x = 6x

a) The Blue Ribbon is 6x

,

If x = 8,

Red Ribbon = 2x = 2(8) = 16 cm

Blue Ribbon = 6x = 6(8) = 48 cm

Total Length = 16 + 48 = 64 cm

(b) The total length of both ribbons is 64 cm
