a reddish brown metal X doesn't react with dilute sulphuric acid but reacts with conc. H2SO4 on heating and liberates a pungent smelling gas Y and solution become blue in colour Z. identify X,Y,Z.

X = Cu, Copper (copper cannot replace hydrogen from the acid since it Is less reactive than hydrogen)

Y = H2, Hydrogen gas (metals react with acids to give hydrogen gas)

Z = CuSO4, Copper Sulphate Solution (the solution of copper sulphate is blue in colour)
