Answer:

Initial price per kg = Rs. 66.66

Reduced Price per kg = Rs. 50

Step-by-step explanation:

Price * Consumption = Expediture

Let Consider, Initial Price = 100x

25 % reduced price = 75 x

Ratio of intial price : reduced price = 100x : 75 x = 4x : 3x

Since the expenditure is Same ratio of intial consumption : Consumption after price reduction = 3x : 4x

Difference in Consumption , 4x-3x = 3 kg

initial consumption = 3x = 9 kg

consumption after price reduction = 4x = 12 kg

Initial price per kg = 600/9 = Rs. 66.66

Reduced Price per kg = 600/12 = Rs. 50
