Power of refrigerator=350W
So, Energy consumed by refrigerator in a day=P×t
=350W×10h
=3500Wh
therefore, Energy consumed by refrigerator in 30 days=3500h×30 =105000Wh=105kWh

Now, Monthly bill=105kWh×Rs2.40perkwh
=Rs.252.

Given that,

Power = 350 W

Time = 10 hrs

Rate of electrical energy = 2.40 per kWh

We need to calculate the energy consuming

Using formula of energy

E=P\times t

Where, P = power

t = time

Put the value into the formula

E=\dfrac{350}{1000}\times10\times30

E=105\ \ k Wh

We need to calculate the cost of electrical energy to operate

Using formula for cost

1 kWh = 2.40 per kwh

105\ k Wh=2.40\times105

105 kWh=252 Rs

Hence, The cost of electrical energy to operate is 252 Rupees
