A poisonous gas leak was created from the factory of Union Carbide, Bhopal, which resulted in the death of more than 15000 people, and many people were victims of various blindness from various physical disabilities. There was a leak of poisonous gas called Methyl isosignite (Mik) in the Bhopal gas trunk. Which was used to make pesticides. Due to the opinion of the deceased, different sources get their opinions different from it. Yet the number of those who died officially earlier was 2,259. The then government of Madhya Pradesh had confirmed the death of 3,787 as gas. Other estimates show that 8000 people had died within two weeks and nearly 8000 people were killed by the related diseases spread by the receiver gas. In an affidavit filed by the government in 2006, it was believed that about 558,125 affected directly from the leak and the number of affected was approximately 38,478. 3900 were badly affected and completely became victims of disability.
