A researcher while running a factor analysis, obtained a kmo value of 0.78. What does this number signify in terms of test quality

Thank you. We have developed a mobile based information system to empower users. We are trying to measure the impact of the application on their empowerment. We have worked with the same group of 30 users in rural villages in sri lanka over 3 years. Collected data before and after the application was deployed. Raw data indicate a clear, positive change. I would like to use exploratory factor analysis to measure approx values for attributes of empowerment. I do not need precise values for the measurements or labels for factors, just an indication that a change has happened. Above are the Kaiser-Meier-Olkin (KMO) index I get. I understand the acceptable KMO index for factor analysis but for a situation like this, are these values acceptable? If not would you recommend another method? Sorry for the lengthy post.
