3/5 , 11/15 , 2/3 . 3/5 are the probabilities

Step-by-step explanation:

The bowl of candies Gabriel receives has

10 chocolates candies,

8 coffee candies

12 caramel Candies

Total candies = 10 + 8 + 12 = 30

the probability of getting candies  (chocolate or coffee)

= (10 + 8)/30

= 18/30

= 3/5

the probability of getting candies (Caramel or not coffee )

=  probability of getting   ( not coffee )

= 1 - probability of getting   ( coffee )

= 1  - 8/30

= 22/30

= 11/15

the probability of getting candies(coffee or caramel)

= (8 + 12)/30

= 20/30

= 2/3

probability of getting candies  (Chocolate or not Caramel)

= probability of getting candies (not Caramel)

= 1 -  probability of getting candies (Caramel)

= 1  - 12/30

= 18/30

= 3/5
