A resultant force of 200N gives a body of mass m1 an acceleration of 6m/s and a body of mass m2 an acceleration of 3 m/s square .what acceleration will this force cause when two masses combine together

We will form equations by the given statements...
F=ma
eq1 ----> 200 = (M1)*6

so 3M1 is 100

eq2------> 200=3(M2)

Now, adding eq1 and eq2,
300 = 3(M1+M2)
Thus, M1+M2 is 100.
Now,.
200=100(a)
Hence, a is 2....
