cost price = 200
he sells by gaining 35 % profit
therefore , selling price = 200 + 200 × 35%
= 200 + 200 × 35 /100
= 200 + 70
= 270
now marked price = 300
so discount on marked price ,
= 300 - 270
= 30 rs
so , discount percentage = discount × 100 / marked price
= 30 × 100 / 300
= 10 %
he sells by gaining 35 % profit
therefore , selling price = 200 + 200 × 35%
= 200 + 200 × 35 /100
= 200 + 70
= 270
now marked price = 300
so discount on marked price ,
= 300 - 270
= 30 rs
so , discount percentage = discount × 100 / marked price
= 30 × 100 / 300
= 10 %
