in a right triangle acsquare=absquare - bcsquare
hence, 48square=30squar

Here is the formula for calculating the area of a rhombus:

The diagonals and the the sides form four similar right angel triangles. When you apply Pythagoras theorem this is the formula you find:

⇒  1/2p√(4a²﹣p²)  ......Where p is the diagonal and a is the side given.

⇒  1/2× 48√(4×30²﹣48²)

⇒ 1/2 x 48√(3600 - 2304)

⇒ 1/2 x 48√(1296)

⇒1/2 × 48 x 36 = 864

Therefore the area of this rhombus shaped field is 864 m²
