The perimeter of the rhombus = 40 m
Each side of the rhombus = 10 m.
One diagonal = 12 m
The other diagonal = 2*[10^2-(12/2)^2]^0.5 = 2*[100–36]^0.5 = 2*64^0.5=2*8 = 16 m.
Area of both sides of the rhombus = (12*16/2)*2 = 192 sq m.
Cost of painting both sides of the rhombus = 192*$5 = $960. Answer
