Answer:

Volume of cone V = 4710 cm^3

Total surface area , T.S.A = 1884cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

A right angle triangle whose sides are 15 cm and 20 cm other than hypotenuse is made to revolve about its hypotenuse

A cone is formed.

The base radius, r = 15cm

The height, h = 20cm

To find hypotenuse

Hypotenuse^2 =  15^2 +20^2 =225 + 400 = 625

Hypotenuse = 25

Lateral length of cone, l = 25

To find total surface area of cone

Total Surface Area A =  Lateral surface area + base area

Lateral surface area L.S. A = πrl = 3.14 x 15 x 25 =1177.5 cm^2

Base area = πr^2 = 3.14 x 15 x 15  = 706.5 cm^2

Total surface area , T.S.A = Lateral surface area + base area =1177.5  + 706.5 =1884cm^2

To find volume of cone

Volume of cone,V = 1/3πr^2h

            V = 1/3 x 3.14 x  15 x 15 x 20

            V = 4710 cm^3
