okay,
to find out the total area, use this:
(pi)rl+(pi)*sqr(r)

[to find l, use = +, you'll get the value 3.94]
(pi)rl+(pi)*sqr(r)
=(3.14*1.6*3.94)+(3.14+1.56)
=19.80+4.70
=24.5

and do the same here, if you wanna find the volume, use this...
1/3*(pi)*sqr(r)*h
input the value and you'll get the answer. Hope it helped. ^_^

if we want to find volume of cone then height=3.6 cm,radius=1.6cm[π=22/7]
1/3πr²h=1/3 x 22/7 x 1.6 x 1.6 x 3.6
=22/7 x 1.6 x 1.6 x 1.2
=22/7 x 3.072
=67.584/7
= 9.654 cm³ [approx]
if we want to find the c.s.a [curved surface area ] of cone then,
l[slant height]=√3.6²+1.6²
=√12.96 +2.56
=√15.52 =3.939 cm² [approx]
c.s.a of cone=πrl

=138.65/7
=19.8 cm²[approx]

sky365plus: would you please tell me how to insert symbol of pi, and also square in answers?
CUTEBARBIE: first u do that when u writing the answers ,there was four button ,the third button u click for giving the symbols like square ,cube
sky365plus: oh, ok
CUTEBARBIE: hmm
