Hi there !!

Diameter = 23 m

Radius = r = 23/2 m

Length = Height = h = 40 m

Area of iron sheet required is = C.S.A of the cylindrical tunnel = 2πrh

                                             = 2 × 22/7 × 23/2 × 40

                                             = 2891.42 m² [ approx.]
